Oscar Piastri showcases 'Two seas' helmet at Japanese Grand Prix.

Carrying on with the colourful artwork themes to showcase at Suzuka this weekend is McLaren’s Australian protégé as he bids to make it back-to-back wins after his victory in China last time out.

Piastri brings a design that will have no issues standing out from McLaren’s papaya colour as the 23-year-old, who celebrates his birthday on the day of the Japanese GP, runs a vibrant blue and white helmet.

Surfing appears to be the inspiration, celebrating his own Australian culture and a sport that is becoming increasingly popular in Japan too after it made its debut at the 2020 Olympic Games.

The bright blue sea has tall white waves crashing against the front and side of the helmet, which is completed by key sponsors of the team such as Google Android, Monster Energy and OKX.
